The International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology will be organized by Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, India from 29th February 2024 to 1st March 2024 with the aim of providing an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, practical challenges encountered, and the solutions adopted in the field of Nanotechnology and Nanoscience’s. 

This event brings together multidisciplinary scientists who are working in niche areas of nanotechnology and help to share their knowledge in nano related fields. The two-day event will consist of Plenary Lectures, Poster Presentations, Panel Sessions, Oral Presentations, and other interactive and informal exchanges.

Dr. Weihua Li is a Senior Professor of Mechatronic Engineering at the University of Wollongong, Australia. His research focuses on smart materials and their applications, microfluidics, Lab on a Chip, and intelligent mechatronics.
Dr. Navakanta Bhat has served as Professor in the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India since 2010. He is specialized in Nanoelectronics device physics and technology, Device modelling and simulation, Nano-biotechnology, Electrochemical Biosensors, Metal oxide gas sensors, Novel materials and processes for CMOS and MEMS applications.
Dr. C.V. Yelamaggad is a Scientist in Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS), Shivanapura. Dasanapura Hobli, Bengaluru. He has a great expertise in the field of Organic Chemistry. His research interest includes mesoionic and heterocyclic liquid crystals, organic and metal-containing mesogens, photoresponsive and photochromic materials for doping, functional liquid crystalline ligands for capping of certain nanoparticles, organic-gels, and porous materials.
Dr. Sergii Rudiuk has been the Associate Professor in Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS), Paris since 2020. He is an expert in DNA, RNA, surfactants, and nanoparticles.
Dr. Shantikumar Nair is the Dean of Research to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (University), and the Director of Amrita Centre for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine, Health Sciences Campus. He heads initiatives in the applications of Nanotechnology to Medicine and Energy areas. Areas of research include nanomedicine, tissue engineering, nanomaterials in photovoltaics, supercapacitors and batteries.
Dr. R.S. Jayasree is a scientist ‘G’ since 2021 in Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum. Her area of research interest includes Optical neural modulation and optogenetics, Application of Lasers in Medicine, MR imaging, Optical imaging, Nanobiophotonics, Biophotonics, Biomedical application of Fluorescence, Raman and IR spectroscopy, and Spectral Mapping.
Cengiz Ozkan is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Riverside. He made pioneering contributions to manufacturing of sustainable high-performance materials for Li-ion batteries and supercapacitors for electric vehicles, smart grids, and mobile electronics; 2D materials for low-power electronics, and sustainable materials for mitigating environmental pollution.
Prof. Amitava Mukherjee is the senior Professor and Director at Center for Nanobiotechnology, VIT University, Vellore. He has enhanced knowledge and expertise in Metallurgical Engineering. Dr. Amitava has an insightful research experience in Nanoecotoxicology, Nanosensors, Waste water treatment, Agricultural nanotechnology, and Nanobiomaterials.

Nature Conference

The “Nanomaterials in biomedical applications” conference hosted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education; an Institute of Eminence declared by the Government of India together with Nature Research is a first of its kind in India.

This international scientific conference will bring together the researchers across the globe working in the field of nanotechnology. This scientific fest will cover different areas where nanoparticles have found application such as theranostics, bio-imaging, drug delivery, nanovaccines, and immunotherapy. The conference aims at highlighting recent advances as well as unpublished research in the above areas and encouraging discussion amongst scientists in a stimulating environment.
